Tips for sexier sound

THE right voice can heat up a room with a single sentence. A bad voice, like bad breath, can make sex appeal vanish in an instant.

Squeaky, strident, screechy, too loud, too quiet, mumbled, monotone - none of these will do you any favours. So here are some tips to sex up your sound:

Someone who "takes your breath away" can do it in a accurate sense. When we're nervous or excited, we stop breathing. Without oxygen your voice sounds high-pitched and strangled. Take a big breath before you open that mouth.

Make sure your voice matches your image. If you've got a little girl voice, people will assume you're girlie and giggly because voices generally match personalities. People are attracted to people who make sense: does your voice need a revamp to reflect the new you?

Most of us get a horrible shock when hearing it back but it's a great way to fix bad habits. How's your pitch and tone? Do you talk too fast or too slow? Close your eyes and imagine you haven't met the person the voice belongs to. What do you think they'd be like?

Robbed of a face to go with the voice, every word of a phone call is loaded with significance. Silence is nearly always taken as disapproval. A rises in tone as anger. Smile and your voice soften and changes.

Gays And Lesbians march into Takoradi

It was a vision of disbelief when a group of gays and lesbians congregated on the soil of East Tanokrom, a suburb of Takoradi, specifically Royal Gem Gardens actually to socialize and take stock of their dishonest affairs.
This strange function, which took place last Saturday, had in attendance a total of about 60 gays and lesbians who had travelled from three regions to join their counterparts in Takoradi for the gathering.

The occasion also saw the occurrence of the President, Vice President and Chief of the gay association, who were introduced to the other members. A junior High School student from Takoradi, who was speckled among the group by her mother, sent her sobbing and weeping over the association her son has joined. The group is said to have rented the Royal Gem Gardens, without disclosing its exceptionality, and later extended invitation letters to their colleague gays of the gathering. It was when the guests started arriving for the function that their real identities were revealed. Upon arrival at the venue of the programmers, some of them changed their cloths into female wear. The programmers eventually kick-started with gospel music and prayers offered to portent the programme. After the speakers had spoken, the floor was opened for dancing and other frivolous activities.
This was spiced with the distribution of condoms and lubricants at the venue. Interestingly, others present, who were perceived not to be members, were exactingly warned never to attempt to go into a secret room at the venue. The said secret room was allegedly reserved for gay couples who go into apparently have sex.
However, when Kyzz FM, a local radio station in Takoradi broke the news, residents of Takoradi were held spellbound. This led to bigwigs in the town to come out to condemn the gathering. The programme was however recorded by an ace cameraman with Kyzz FM, who took a video and pictures of the event. The management of Royal Gem Gardens, which rented out the site for the programme, also walked up to the management of Kyzz FM to explain that they were unaware that the people who rented the place wanted to use it for such a programme.
According to them, they would not have rented out the venue if they were aware the individuals were gays. The Chief of Tanokrom, Mahmoud Tano, has also expressed grave be anxious over the conduct of gays in his influence.

Meet America's First Amish Porn Star

Wednesday morning's episode of "The Howard Stern Show" featured a 20-year-old adult film star named Emma, who claims to be an deserter from a Pennsylvania Amish community.
Internet search engines malformed under the pressure of this immediate sensation, which is at present one of the most-searched-for fantasy babes of the Web right now, according to Salon.
Emma told Stern that she missing the Amish community at the age of 18, as stipulated under the terms of her Rumspringa. Instead of going back, though, she immediately bought a cell phone and hooked up with her four secular sisters, all of whom were enjoying our decadent and depraved American lifestyle.
When Stern's sidekick Robin Quivers asked how up-to-date with modern technologies Emma is, the model replied that she knew how to use the Internet. "I have one at home," she claimed.
Emma told the famed disc jockey that she didn't assume of her "nude modeling" gig as porn, although, after further consideration, maybe she went a bit overboard.

Johnson claims to put a pair of her undies, some pie, and a signed photo of the artist formerly recognized as Emma in a delicious $40 gift box. You can order that (at your own risk) here.
In the intervening time, we should take bets as to how long she can keep this act up before an ex-boyfriend from Texas shows up on "Good Morning America" with her public school yearbook photo.

Glee star Jane Lynch's lesbian affair

Glee star Jane Lynch had a passionate affair with one of her teachers - shortly after she 'came out' as a lesbian.
The actress refused to let anyone know the truth about her sexuality until she bowed 21, and one of her first female relationships was with an older woman at college.
Lynch says, "Being gay was the last thing in the world that I wanted to be. I'm one of those people who liked to toe the line - I'm not a rebel. I just want to be like everyone else most of the time. I finally came out when I was 21, which is kind of late, I conjecture.
"I had an affair with my teacher and it was really an wonderful, mind-blowing experience. She was older and I was crazy about her and it was great - really wonderful."
But despite admitting her sexual orientation to her friends, and enjoying several gay relationships, Lynch refused to tell her family until she was in her 30s.
She adds, "I didn't come out to my family until my thirties; I'd moved to LA and there was so much they didn't know about me. I wrote them a letter, saying, 'This is what I am, let me know how you feel'.

Sex Education Conference

Most teachers lack the confidence to teach sex education adequately, the National Association of Headteachers (NAHT) said yesterday.

The Association called for "urgent" improvements after a survey found that four out of five teachers felt they lacked either the resources or the confidence to teach the subject fine.
Among the main barriers was the universal embarrassment among schoolchildren about asking questions, followed by the teachers' lack of training. The survey was conducted by the NAHT, the National Governors Association, and the National Confederation of Parent Teachers Association (NCPTA).

Sion Humphreys, of the NAHT's education department, said: "Teachers have not been sufficiently trained to deliver it [sex education] and have not had the access to the range of resources they need. This is an urgent need that must be addressed if we are to be able to prepare young people for their future lives." Among the suggestions for improvements was the consideration of more assets such as DVDs, as well as the consideration of guest speakers in a bid to alleviate the workload of teachers. Fewer than one in 10 teachers and only 15 per cent of parents said that they found current teaching materials "very useful".

More than a quarter of teachers felt their sex education classes prepared pupils "not well" or "not at all well". More than eight out of 10 parents said sex and relationship education (SRE) should also be delivered at home, but only six out of 10 felt confident about broaching the subject.

David Butler, chief executive of NCPTA, said: "We owe it to children to get this right. If SRE lessons aren't preparing children properly for life as adults, they need to be improved. More requirements to be done to ensure teachers are trained in how to deliver sex education. To do this effectively, parents need more information about what children are learning and exact resources to use with their children."
